About WordSifter

WordSifter.com is a set of web tools for word-game enthusiasts. It was created because we felt the existing tools we had tried (and we tried a bunch!) had frustrating user interfaces, lacked features we wanted, or simply had so much advertising that they were difficult to use.

My wife and I enjoy games such as Spelling Bee and Wordle, and we play Scrabble from time to time. So we decided to create a site with the more thoughtful UI and complete feature set we wanted. We added support for Words With Friends, general word search, and Word of the Day because they seemed like appropriate additions to the site.
